Partial Renewal of the SEM Board of Directors

Dear friend and colleague:

At the end of this year the partial renewal of the Board of Directors of the SEM in the positions of President-elect, Treasurer and two Members (Art. 16 of our statutes). To apply for candidacy for the Treasury It is necessary to reside in Madrid, the registered office of the association (Art. 13). Proposals can be made for any of these positions by a minimum of 20 members, and it is the discretion of the Board of Directors to proclaim the candidatures received, and if it deems appropriate, complete them or propose others (Art. 16).

Candidacies must be sent by email to the administrative secretariat of the SEM (secretaria.sem@semicrobiologia.org), attaching the signature sheets corresponding to the endorsements that support the candidacy. The deadline for receiving proposals is Monday, November 25, 2024. Subsequently, the Board of Directors will hold the required meeting to announce the candidacies and determine the voting schedule.
