The Institute of Functional Biology and Genomics (IBFG), formerly the Institute of Biochemical Microbiology (IMB), on the occasion of the celebration of the X anniversary, several activities have been organized and one of them is a photographic exhibition entitled "The microbial world in 90mm: bacteria, fungi and their interactions” which is being exhibited from October 14 to 23, 2022 at the Casa de las Conchas in Salamanca. It is a free access oriented exhibition where you can observe the beauty of the microbial world.

The photographs have been taken by Dr. Ramón Santamaría, Carlos R. Vázquez de Aldana, Margarita Díez and Beatriz Santos.
